Dedicated to Safety

Meet The Playground Inspector

The Playground Inspector is a leading playground inspection company based in Sydney, committed to ensuring the utmost safety for playgrounds across New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Our mission is to safeguard children's play areas through rigorous and professional inspections that adhere to the highest Australian Standards.

With accreditation as Level 3 Comprehensive Inspectors and a team equipped with tertiary science qualifications, we bring unmatched expertise and precision to every inspection. We pride ourselves on offering unbiased evaluations, free from any affiliations with installers or manufacturers, ensuring an objective focus on safety and compliance.

In the playground, the safety of children is dependent on several factors, three of which are:

• The integrity of the play equipment,

• The compliance of the surface under and around this equipment, and

• The supervision of the children using the play equipment.

At The Playground Inspector, we will provide you with feedback on the condition of your equipment and its compliance

with the current Australian Standards: AS 4685 and that your playground surface is performing adequately in

accordance with Australian Standard: AS 4422 “Playground surfacing – Specifications, requirements and test

method”.

Our Testing Officers have tertiary science qualifications, are accredited as Level 2 Operational and Level 3

Comprehensive Inspectors, are certified to conduct surface impact testing.

We can also help you in developing an inspection and maintenance schedule for your playground facility.

Although we are Sydney based, our customers are located throughout NSW and ACT.

We carry public liability and professional indemnity insurances.

With more that 20 years' experience in the playground industry, and 10 years' experience in playground auditing, we can offer a truly independent service with no affiliation with playground equipment suppliers or surface installers.

As opposed to some other "independent" inspectors, we will not quote for the repairs or replacement of equipment and safety surfaces as we consider this business engagement a conflict of interest.

The image features a modern playground, showcasing a bright blue and green climbing structure with a slide. There are various climbing features, including a curved climbing wall and a ladder. The playground is set on a bed of wood chips, surrounded by grassy areas and under a clear blue sky with a few clouds, creating a welcoming recreational space for children.
